Palmer Place Bed and Breakfast - The story of Palmer Place is as historic as the history of Jefferson County, FL, itself. Martin Palmer, the builder, moved to Jefferson County with slaves, household goods and nine children in 1829. He became a successful planter and also owned a general store and tavern! He built our BIG house to accommodate his family. Adjacent to our property is the Palmer Cemetery, the only family cemetery in the county still associated with the family home. Come see our pictures showing the old to the new and relive the history of the house, its owners and how it became a bed and breakfast.
