Turtle Beach Inn and Cottages - This charming bed & breakfast, which opened in 1997, is nestled between long-needled pines and cabbage palms on an often deserted Gulf coast beach which is a nesting spot for loggerhead turtles. Relaxing and enjoying the peace and solitude of the area seems to be the favorite pastime for guests, but other activities are available. The area waters - the Gulf of Mexico, Apalachicola Bay, St. Joseph Bay, lagoons, bayous, and rivers - provide all types of aquatic adventures.  Canoeing, kayaking, motor boating, fishing, swimming. horseback riding, biking, and golf are all available for our guests. St. Vincent Island, a wildlife preserve, is just a short paddle or boat ride from the inn and the area beaches are some of the most beautiful in the United States.
