Extreme Fishing - Bonita Springs, Florida
Southwest Florida is
home to some of the best fishing in the state. The natural
environment of the Gulf and fish rich areas such as Pine Island
Sound and the Ten Thousand Islands rank with the best. The
artificial reefs and natural ledges in the Gulf of Mexico provide
homes to the big snook, redfish, trout and tarpon that fishermen
are hoping to find. Right at the southern point of Boca
Grande and the mouth of Charlotte Harbor you can experience the
thrill of bringing in one of the large Tarpon that make the area
home.
Serious fishermen
dream of a chance to fish in waters that abound in such a big
variety of large fish. When you want to be sure that you are
going to come home with something to talk about, you need the
experience and tenacity of Extreme Fishing!
We
offer 30 years experience in fishing and guiding the inshore and
local flats and fish saltwater on light tackle in Southwest
Florida. We have more repeat clients than anyone.
If you are fishing for big snook, redfish, trout and tarpon,
that's where we excel.
Captain Terry Davis has fished the
Southwest Florida area from Pine Island to the Ten Thousand
Islands for nearly 30 years, always fishing for big snook,
redfish, trout, and the Silver King himself, the tarpon.
He's not only an accomplished
saltwater guide and angler but also an experienced fresh water
B.A.S.S. Tournament angler. Captain Terry got a paycheck in
13 of the 16 saltwater tournaments he fished in 2002 and also tied
the record held for 13 years for the Calusa Catch & Release
tournament with a catch of a 26 1/2 pounds, 43 inch Snook. The
tournament field was 110 boats and over 450 anglers.
He is a regular on Fox TV's
Southwest Florida Outdoors Show.
Captain Terry's grandfather once
told him that to do something you love for a living and be good at
it, makes you a lucky man. He loves to fish and he loves to
take people fishing. He says, "Yes, I'm a very lucky
man."
Captain Eric Davis is Captain
Terry's son and the apple didn't fall very far from the tree.
His love of fishing is even greater than his father's. He is
a second generation native guide and one of the best at what he
does -- and he does produce fish for you.
Captain Eric, sometimes known as
the Barefoot Captain, began his saltwater fishing
experience with his dad at the ripe old age of 2 1/2 years.
After learning most of his father's tricks, he learned a few of
his own.
By the time he was eighteen years
old, Captain Eric was on the B.A.S.S. Florida State Team comprised
of the best 12 bass anglers in the state. He consistently
places in the top of many saltwater tournaments for snook, redfish
and trout. He has accomplished more in 22 years than most serious
anglers do in a lifetime.
In 2003, Eric placed 3rd in the
Guided Division and 10th overall in the largest inshore tournament
in Florida which draws 116 boats. He now has the record for
the largest snook ever taken in the Naples Y.M.C.A. Red Snook
Tournament -- 43 inches and well over 24 pounds. We can't wait to
see what he will do in the future.
You can see Eric on Fox
Television's Southwest Florida Outdoors Show.

Capt. Marc is a world class angler who has fished all over the
globe. From Marlin fishing in Mexico, Sailfish in Costa Rica, and Snook
and Tarpon in Belize as well as many ports in North America
and Canada. Now guiding exclusively out of Southwest Florida he
brings his many years of fishing guide experience to some of the
best back country Florida fishing available in the USA. Capt. Marc
began fishing the pristine flats of Sanibel, Captiva,
and Pine Island Sound in 1976. He is an expert at stalking Snook,
Trout, and Redfish on the flats as well as monster
Tarpon on the beaches. His days on the water are numbered in
the hundreds.
A typical day in on this Florida fishing charter starts out
with catching bait. I am an expert in throwing a cast net and in a
short period will fill the live wells with bait. I will instruct
you in every facet of Florida flats fishing from how to
catch "Shiners," to skipping your bait under the
Mangroves for Snook with a bad attitude. After we load up the live
wells with bait, the hunt begins. They say he who has the most
chum (shiners) wins, and what this means is this. You troll up to
a promising hole on a mangrove island and you proceed to toss out
handfuls of live bait. This starts a feeding frenzy where every
type of fish around will come to your spot in search of a free
meal. The end result is fish busting the bait on the surface in an
unbelievable show of power and fury. Multiple hookups result and
this is what I call "angler's heaven". The best part is
that you never know what type of fish your going to catch, as all
fish in Pine Island Sound feed on Shiners. In the same spot on
numerous casts you might hook Snook, Trout, Reds, Snapper,
Grouper, Sharks, Flounder, Tarpon, and who knows what else.
We specialize in family fishing, and teaching children to fish.
Snook Blaster charters provides everything you need for a fun
day of Ft. Myers guided fishing. We provide the finest in fishing
tackle and gear, as well as all necessary licenses. All bait and
lures are provided and the use of live bait is our specialty. The
cost is $400 for a full day (8hrs.), $350
for 3/4 day (6 hrs) or $300 for half day (4hrs).
Prices are for up to 2 anglers. Small additional charge for extra
anglers. Cleaning, icing and bagging your catch is included.
Gratuities are greatly appreciated. The only thing you need to
bring is your food and drink. We can also do beach picnics where
food and drink is provided, or stop off at a seaside restaurant
for lunch.
I provide the finest in fishing tackle from Loomis rods to
Shimano reels. My boat is a very comfortable 20 ft. ActionCraft
with a 200 horse Yamaha engine. The boat is very fast and will get
you to the fishing grounds in a hurry. I have a canopy top to
protect you if needed from the heat and rain. I provide everything
you need for a fantastic day of Ft. Myers fishing.
To experience the ultimate in flats fishing in Florida ,
you owe it to yourself to take a trip to Southwest Florida and

await you.
